Front Desk & Scheduler – HomeWell Care Services (Jacksonville, FL)
We’re looking for a Front Desk & Scheduler to help manage our growing home care agency in Jacksonville. This role is key to our daily operations, ensuring clients receive exceptional care and caregivers are supported with efficient scheduling.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate caregiver schedules to ensure consistent, high-quality care for all clients.
- Use web-based scheduling software to create and maintain accurate caregiver schedules.
- Contact caregivers to confirm shifts, manage schedule changes, and ensure coverage for call-offs or new client needs.
- Maintain a “hot list” of available caregivers for immediate or backup placement.
- Communicate with clients, caregivers, and managers about scheduling updates and changes.
- Assist with onboarding new caregivers, including scheduling orientations and training.
- Participate in hiring needs discussions and assist with interviewing and training new staff.
- Step in and provide temporary client care in the event of a missed shift until coverage is found.
- Provide on-call support during after-hours and weekends on a rotating schedule.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of scheduling experience, preferably in home care, healthcare, or a related field.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in computer use and scheduling software.
- Excellent time management and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available for weekend work and rotating on-call support.
- Comfortable leading orientations and assisting with new caregiver training.
- Preference for applicants with CNA or HHA experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
