About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to support a lovely couple in Brick, NJ. One of the clients is living with dementia, and we are looking for someone who is engaging, patient, and experienced in memory care. The ideal candidate will be bi-lingual in Spanish and English and must be comfortable around friendly dogs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance with daily living activities including grooming, bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Offer companionship and engage in stimulating activities, especially for dementia care
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
  • Monitor client health and ensure medications are taken as prescribed
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
  • Support mobility and transfers as needed
  • Communicate effectively with the family and care team
Requirements:

  • Bi-lingual Spanish speaker
  • Previous experience with dementia care
  • Must be comfortable with dogs
  • Reliable, caring, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to live-in for multiple consecutive days
  • Valid ID and work authorization
  • References required
  • Must have an active CHHA license in New Jersey
  • Have a valid physical examination within the last year, TB testing or negative Chest x-ray, and proof of MMR vaccine.

Compensation: $190.00 - $210.00 per day
