Job Title: Sales Representative – Home Care Services  

Overview:
In partnership with the Managing Director, the Sales Representative plays a key role in enhancing brand awareness and establishing a positive community presence for our agency. The primary goal is to generate client referrals, increase client census, and expand service hours by building strong, lasting relationships with referral sources. This role focuses on positioning the agency as a trusted partner, valued resource, and industry leader in home care solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
  • At least two years of healthcare sales and marketing experience 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect effectively with a range of professionals 
  • Creative, self-motivated, and adept at problem-solving with sound judgment 
  • Strong follow-up, planning, and organizational abilities 
  • Proven success in developing and maintaining professional relationships 
  • Present a professional, positive business image 
  • Reliable transportation, current auto insurance, and a valid driver’s license 
  • Passionate about supporting seniors in maintaining their dignity and independence
Key Responsibilities:  
  • Promote the agency's services and generate appropriate referrals by establishing needs within the community 
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with referral sources such as hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehab centers, home health agencies, hospice providers, senior centers, and community organizations 
  • Identify, research, and pre-qualify prospective accounts, traveling locally within the designated territory 
  • Conduct in-person visits with a minimum of 8 accounts per day, demonstrating value and building rapport 
  • Follow up after meetings with relevant information and ensure agreed-upon actions are completed promptly 
  • Represent the agency at senior-focused networking events, community outreach activities, and professional associations 
  • Develop weekly activity plans to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, set goals for each sales call, and prepare necessary materials 
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and contacts in the agency’s CRM system 
  • Complete and submit weekly sales reports and participate in weekly sales meetings to review progress, discuss challenges, and strategize 
  • Collaborate with team members on upcoming events, marketing efforts, and budget management 
  • Pursue new business opportunities and industry trends to support growth 
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of agency services, competitors, and market industry trends
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
Travel within the designated territory to meet with professional referral sources using reliable transportation.  
Reporting Relationships:
Reports directly to the Managing Director.

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
