URGENT HIRING – Caregiver Needed for Female Dementia Client
Location: Avon, CT
Type: Full-Time / Part-Time | Flexible Shifts
We are urgently seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to assist a female client living with dementia. This is an immediate opening — we need someone who can start right away!
Responsibilities include:
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Supporting mobility and safe transfers
- Preparing meals and assisting with feeding if needed
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping and creating a safe environment
- Engaging client in memory-friendly and calming activities
Requirements:
- Experience with dementia or memory care preferred
- CNA, HHA, or PCA certification a plus (not required)
- Must be patient, caring, and reliable
- Ability to handle the physical aspects of caregiving
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
