POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, reliable, and empathic Non-Medical In-Home Caregiver to provide personalized care and assistance to clients in their homes. This role requires the ability to perform safe heavy lifting and mobility support while ensuring the physical well-being of both the client and the caregiver. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal care, physical assistance, and maintaining a safe and respectful environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
• Assist clients with mobility, including transfers from bed to wheelchair, chair to toilet, and other daily movements requiring physical support.
• Perform safe heavy lifting using proper body mechanics and assistive devices when necessary.
• Support clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Monitor and report changes in client behavior, physical condition, or needs to the care coordinator or supervisor.
• Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation, engagement, and routine activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
• Follow individualized care plans and safety protocols to minimize risk of injury.
• Collaborate with other caregivers and family members to ensure continuity of care.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance 
  • Proof of current TB testing
  • Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
  • Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
  • Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)

Compensation: $13.50 - $17.50 per hour
