HomeWell Care Services of Simsbury is seeking compassionate female caregivers to provide personal and companion care for seniors in Canton and Barkhamsted, Connecticut.
If you have a caring heart, a flexible schedule, and a passion for helping others, this is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact close to home.

We are currently hiring for short, combined shifts (3–4 hours each) in both towns. Canton and Barkhamsted are only about 15 minutes apart, and travel time between clients is paid. This allows you to maximize your work hours while caring for local clients in your community.

Available Shifts

We are currently hiring for:

  • Morning shifts: 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM

  • Evening shifts: 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

  • Flexible weekday and weekend schedules

You may choose one or more clients based on your availability. No long-distance travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support

  • Assist with light personal care, grooming, and hygiene

  • Support clients with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping

  • Maintain professionalism and empathy in all client interactions

Requirements

  • Must identify as female (due to client preference and personal care needs*)
