Provides in-home, non-medical services to support clients with daily living activities (ADLs), ensuring a safe, comfortable, and dignified living environment.
- Companionship: Engaging in conversation, hobbies, reading, and social activities to provide emotional support.
- Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, showering, grooming, hair care, dressing, and toileting.
- Mobility Assistance: Helping with transferring (bed/chair), walking, and using wheelchairs or walkers.
- Homemaking: Performing light housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, laundry, changing linens, and organizing.
- Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals, and assisting with feeding if necessary.
- Transportation & Errands: Driving clients to doctor appointments, grocery shopping, or pharmacy visits.
- Medication Reminders: Prompting clients to take pre-measured or prescription medications (non-administration).
- Safety & Monitoring: Observing and reporting changes in physical or mental health to supervisors/family
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
- Pass background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to lbs (required for mobility assistance).
- Compassionate, patient, and caring demeanor.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs.
- Reliability and punctuality.
