About the Role

HomeWell Care Services is a new, mission‑driven, veteran‑owned home care agency serving Oak Ridge, Knoxville, and the greater East Tennessee region. We are seeking a Community Senior Care Specialist to help us grow by building strong relationships throughout the community. This is a community‑based outreach and marketing role .

Your mission is to connect seniors, families, and clinical partners with the resources they need to keep older adults safe at home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Community Outreach: Build a strong network of senior centers, nonprofits, churches, civic groups, and support organizations across East Tennessee.
  • Resource Connection: Become the go‑to community resource families turn to long before they need home care.
  • Clinical Partner Engagement: Meet with seniors and families in hospitals and rehabs to explain care options with clarity and compassion.
  • Safe Discharge Education: Educate hospitals, SNFs, and rehabs on how non‑medical home care supports fall prevention, nutrition, and reduced re-admissions.
  • Strategic Growth: Execute a community outreach plan that positions home care as essential for aging‑in‑place and transitional care.
  • Public Representation: Attend local events, Alzheimer’s walks, health fairs, and professional networking groups as the knowledgeable face of HomeWell.
Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in healthcare outreach, marketing, or community relations (Home Health, Hospice, SNF, or Assisted Living preferred). 
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with case workers, social workers, and discharge planners.
  • Compassionate, relationship‑driven approach to supporting families.
  • Proven ability to meet outreach or referral goals.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and electronic referral platforms.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Compensation: $33,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
