HomeWell Care Services of Lake County & The Villages is hiring a dedicated Full-Time Office Assistant with private duty home care experience to join our Home Care team!
You will need to have caregiving experience, enjoy interacting with others, and display patience and critical thinking skills. The Home Care Office Assistant must also have a sense of urgency, understand schedule and shift planning, provide superb customer service, be a critical thinker, and understand the Home Care industry.
This position involves various administrative tasks that ensure smooth and efficient delivery of care to our clients. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
HomeWell of Lake County and The Villages has two offices, one in Clermont and one in The Villages. There may be times that you will be required to travel between offices, especially during the training period.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Core responsibilities will be tied to staff coordination and management, training, and ensuring the utmost service is delivered to clients daily. This includes:
- Assist with scheduling new and existing home care clients on an ongoing basis and as daily situations arise.
- Assist with HR functions such as hiring/recruiting and orientation.
- Effectively & professionally handles all incoming calls from prospective clients and referral sources.
- Help Effectively manage caregiver callouts and client requests.’
- Maintain ongoing communication with Managers, Caregivers & Clients regarding client care needs and schedule changes.
- Advises other staff of any client issues that need to be addressed.
- Promoting service excellence and displaying the highest level of business professionalism at all times.
Work Schedule:
** This position is an in-office position - it is not a remote position. **
Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM, Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
In addition, on a rotating schedule, you will participate in the after-hours on-call phone coverage to ensure client care coverage.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills
- A “people-person” who’s able to remain pleasant and considerate under stress.
- Meticulous attention to detail- Effective communication skills (verbal and written), documentation skills, interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn quickly and continually.
- Prior office experience in private duty home care is preferred.
- Prior experience as an in-home caregiver is a major plus.
- ClearCare/Wellsky knowledge is a plus.
- You must be a good person and someone we want to hang out with (seriously).
- comfortable utilizing various technologies and computer programs.
- Proficient with computer use and software applications.
- Multi-tasker and customer service-oriented
- Must have a valid driver's license and dependable vehicle
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Spanish speaking is a plus, but not necessary
